These Terms govern your use of Settrly (“we”, “us”, “our”), an educational AI study tool that helps newcomers and international students understand the general meaning of everyday documents in plain English. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Settrly is not a law firm, immigration consultancy, tax preparation service, accounting firm, financial advisor, insurance broker, or medical provider, and does not provide legal, immigration, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, or medical advice. Settrly does not represent users before any government agency. Information provided by Settrly is for general educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make and should consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction before acting on anything you read here.
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use Settrly. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
You must not misuse Settrly. This includes no unlawful use, fraud, spam, IP infringement, attempts to interfere with security (malware, probing, scraping), reverse engineering, resale, or circumventing technical limits. You are responsible for the content you upload and your prompts, for verifying the accuracy of any output, and for having the rights to any input content.
Settrly uses generative AI. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Settrly is not a substitute for legal, immigration, tax, financial, or insurance advice from a licensed professional. Always verify important decisions with a qualified advisor.
We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. Rights-holders may submit takedown requests via our support channel; repeated infringement may result in termination.
Settrly and all related software, documentation, and branding are owned by Settrly. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. You retain ownership of content you upload, and grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. On termination, your access ends and your data may be exported or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
